    I was trying to melt clear acrylic pieces in pure acetone for a different project. But for some reason, the acrylic pieces just REFUSED to dissolve. Upon being drowned in acetone for a week, they just got a little soft. But nothing close to being dissolved. Are there any types of acrylics resistant to being dissolved in acetone? Somebody kindly guide me so I can proceed with my project. I have been searching for answer for about a month now, with nothing so far.

    This is a great demonstration, but beware, test fully, don't rely on anything until you see the results of your own testing for yourself. This works excellent as a plexiglass to plexiglass bonding agent. It will not Bond well between wood and wood, unless you very carefully and very thoroughly heat your glue until it's very viscous and thinned out. Then use this heat-thinned glue to coat your wood to wood surfaces to be bonded first. Let your coated surfaces dry for at least 6 hours, then continue bonding your surfaces together as suggested by the video creator. Additionally,, I can't stress seriously enough that you test for yourself the results of your bonding. The video creator here is a very thoughtful man with your best interests in mind,,,. I have no doubt about that. I encourage everyone to at least give a thanks in the comments section and definitely give a thumbs up to this creator. Thanks to all from myself.

    Thank you kindly sir! You are a caring individual and I find it really refreshing that you took the time to make and share this information video, out of the consideration and kindness in your heart, which is much different than so many on UA-cam, who seek notariaty, compensation or foolish pride/fame. You just did this because you are a good, sweet, kind, human being. As much as I am disappointed in the human race today, you just made me very happy, almost to tears: Very sincerely appreciate the way you unselfishly took the time and did this kind act for others to benefit from. I wish you God's blessings and all good things.

    Isn't this just two single sided solar panels placed back to back? Seems rather pointless to me unless you were mounting it somewhere like over a lake or snow where sun could reflect onto the back. Otherwise it seems your money would be better spent on two single sided panels.

    It can do a littie more. You are blocking the rear panels propping ut up on boxes or whatever. Legs mounted to the outer frame and a little lift for the entire panel over your driveway or on the roof. Roll on some of that white elastomeric stay kool type stuff to make the roof nice and reflective first of course. That little panel seems to do the business. Have you tried those flexible military grade ones? You can even partially shade those and rhey still work. I bought a tiny one, like not even $20 and it was pretty impressive. Definitely worth the money just to tinker with. It could definitely charge a phone, probably on a cloudy day even. I want to say it's like 9v so all you need is one of those littie charge/discharge modules. I should probably dust that off and put it to use since i know I bought the charge boards. I got 2 different ones that can charge and discharge at the same time since I am familiar with the quality control of these types of PCBs.

    The Namekian people must love these solar panels! I decided to save a few bucks and get regular panels since my current use case doesn't allow for much light on the back, but I could see a few instances where they would be beneficial. I'm using one of those Elejoy boosting charge controllers and it works great for my ebike batteries. Thanks for the video!

    Interesting panel. How many cells in series is it? The Vmp and Voc might indicate more cells in series. 20 years ago we used to do 36 cells in series with each cell producing about 0.5v Vmp in STC or about 18v. When the panel was actually in the sun on a hot day the voltage would drop down to about 0.4v/cell which is still enough to fully charge a 12v battery. Some cheap panels used 33 or 32 cells and would only produce about 13v which isn't enough to fully charge a 12v battery.

    • @vuaeco
      @vuaeco 2 дні тому

      All 36 cells are in series. Newer cells are more efficient and they produce 0.67V/cell open circuit.

    Thank for the video. It was very useful 👍🏻 Do you advise to use some transformer between oscilloscope and the inverter to prevent the oscilloscope from blowing up? Or because the inverter is powered from a battery, it is not in the same circuit with the oscilloscope? Do you think it safe for the oscilloscope to check the sinus waveform comming from a gasoline power generator with the same technique?

    For me, it was the bottom track. Instead of a standoff support at either end point, my bottom track is clamped onto the bottom edge of window with a rubber gasket between glass and length of track. I had to tap track with a hammer so motor arm would not fall off track- basically track to locate it more center of travel.

    I'm watching your videos again this year to refresh my memory of the tips and tricks that you share. I really enjoy your videos. Other videos are very generic and repetitive. Your videos are packed with creative ideas and useful information. I have a the same Delta Mini and also a TimeUSB LiPo4 12V 100Ah battery & a 200 watt Solar Panel. I'm bringing all this and also a small window Air Conditioner (410watt )unit on a trip to South Dakota. Please pray it keeps us cool the few nights we camp. Hopefully using the 882 watts from the ECOFLOW plus the 1200 watts from the battery minus any losses will be sufficient. My wife is the ultimate arbiter of success. 😅 please pray. Also if you have any suggestions please share. Regards, Joe

    I have been using top load drums for years. They will last for years. Rust is their only enemy. I BBQ on mine using a Weber type grill which you can get at homedepot. I use four 1 1/2 screws with washers and nuts attached to the grill pointing down around the inside area of the tub to keep it from moving while clean the grill or cooking. Now if you can find a discarded Weber round lid you will have a great smoker BBQ. When your BBQ is done remove lid and grill and you can start your fireplace. When your done for the nite put the lid back on for safety. Been doing this for forty years.

    I understand that your source for the batteries is the original bike pack battery ? My project is to rebuild some Worx cordless power tool batteries(18650) but the dead batteries never raise in amperage just voltage . Used laptop batteries (18650) seem to work better for me . When you get this condition of Voltage but no amperage is it not retrievable ?

    I have a 24 vdc controller for a Brush motor. I'm using 2 DeWalt 20v - 5 amp batteries in SERIES. This gives me 20 10 amps to drive the motor. I connected it to my key trottle ignition switch & can read 20v on the display. BUT when I turn the trottle to rotate the motor nothing happens. Is ther any way I can read the output off of the lines coming off the controller that connect to the motor? Love your videos I learned som uch from them. Bob
